Title says it all. I thought it wasn't supposed to. It's a Series 2, latest firmware that was just updated on 28 Jan 17. I have it on the charger, it shows it's charging, and it's on nightstand mode or whatever, but it's still vibrating when I get a notification (they're coming in now as I type this).
Sorry clarification- not just charging, but IN NIGHT STAND MODE, the alarm will only sound, definitely no vibrations.
If it is not in nightstand mode (laying flat) it will still get audible and visual notifications but will not vibrate.
Check "wrist detection" in the Settings App(gear wheel) on your Watch. General/wrist detection. Make sure it is on.
If that is not the problem, then there is something wrong with the Watch. It should not vibrate or get notifications while charging. The alarm will sound and that about it.
Download the new Apple Support app and contact them if it continues.
So I have that turned on...it doesn't do it all the time. It's like when I first put it on the charger for at least the first while it will keep going, and then eventually stop it seems. Wrist detection is turned on, I just checked.
Could it be it is not getting a firm connection with the charger? Do you have it on a flat surface? Is the lightning bolt showing and connected and charging when this happens? What type of notification is it? Is it from a third party app? Very unusual.
