To record a yoga workout, select "Other" in the Workout app on your Apple Watch. The workout can be named as yoga when you end and save the workout.
When recording workouts via the Workout app, choosing the activity type that most closely matches your workout enables it to use the most appropriate sensors and data sources when estimating results, including using tailored calorie calculations for certain activities.
For workouts that are neither included within the main list nor are sufficiently similar, record your workouts under "Other".
This credits one minute of Exercise for each full minute of the workout and awards Move credit (active calories / kilojoules) at a rate equivalent to a brisk walk or based on data from the heart rate sensor, whichever is higher.
When ending your workout, tap on the menu option for "Name Workout" and choose yoga from the list of activities.
