My mom uses one of our old iPhone 4s. I want to use an app that says compatible with ios 7 or greater.
Will the 4s accept an ios upgrade. I've tried several times, it doesn't seem to load.
Suggestions?
As a complement to the version limits spelled out by stedman1, attempt the upgrade using the iTunes program on a computer (Mac preferred). If the preexisting iOS version is very old, that will be the only way to succeed.
The 4S can upgrade to 9.3.5.
The 4 can upgrade to 7.1.2.
