Hi MisbahHP!

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities! I see that you want to create a calendar event with reminders, that repeats ONLY on weekdays. I have events like this, myself, and I would be happy to help.

  1. Open your iOS Calendar App
  2. Tap the + symbol in the upper right corner
  3. Set the title, location, date, time, etc.
  4. Tap "Repeat", tap "Custom" (at the bottom)
  5. Tap "Frequency", then select "Weekly"
  6. Tap the days Monday through Friday to select them (you will see a check mark)
  7. Tap "< Repeat" in the upper left corner to go back
  8. Tap "< New Event" in the upper left corner to go back again
  9. Add other details of the event, like "End Repeat", which calendar it's on, etc.
  10. Tap "Alert" and "Second Alert" to set when you would like to be notified about the event
  11. Tap "Add" in the upper right corner to save the new event
Let us know if you have further questions!

Have a wonderful day.

Has this changed recently? I am trying to set reminders for weekdays only repeat and there is no option to check the days separately when I choose daily. As a work around, I scheduled a separate appt each day with weekly repeats, but this is a pain - hoping I don't have to do that every time I need to schedule a weekday only standing appt.

What is incorrect? I know how to do it, and I have done it before, and as I was responding to Jeremy's post one could assume that I had read it.

What I said is that it was not working for me on my phone at that time. (Please read posts before responding with snarky comments.)

My question to Apple is has this changed recently?

My response was to kjodmb. They gave incorrect information about having to delete it on the iPhone and needing to create it on a computer. It was not in response to your question. Read who the reply is to before accusing someone of being snarky. I read every post thoroughly before I reply.

Asking Apple a question here doesn't do any good. They don't read or monitor these boards. However, I can say that nothing has changed recently regarding reoccurring weekly appointments only on specific days. If you are having problems, I would post screenshots so we can help further.
