Does the Apple Watch series one come with anything but a Polymer strap?

Hello. I recently looked into purchasing an Apple Watch series one. The Apple Store employee told me that if I wished to purchase one with a Nylon strap, I would need to buy it online, as they only stock the polymer ones. However, after going online to check I have found the only available model with the Nylon strap is the series two. I told him I only wished to purchase a series one, so was he just confused? Or am I missing something on my part? If it helps, I am in the U.K. I would prefer not to have to buy the Apple Watch series two as it's main features do not appeal to me, but at the same time I don't want to have to spend £50 on a strap that I possibly could have got for free.
