What is the best case for protection and travel for my MacBook Pro?

This is my first Apple laptop and I want to take good care of it so it will last me for a very long time. I just bought my MacBook Pro 13in 2016 edition and I'm not computer savvy in the least bit so any advice or options are most welcome! I travel and take my MacBook Pro with me to class so I am looking for a case that will serve both as a protection case and a travel case. I've seen where some cases don't allow any airflow, causing it to overheat. I'm a clumsy person, so with that being said it leads to my electronics to break, scratch, dent and sometimes crack. I'm wanting a case that will protect it from my clumsiness but also not harm the laptop while I'm using it for extended periods of time.

InCase and Speck make some good hardshell cases for the MacBook Pro.

I've used the Speck cases in the past and it saved my laptop quite a few times. The case eventually broke due to my clumsiness but better the case than the laptop!

The problem you may find is that the 2016 model is so new that the manufacturers haven't released new versions of their cases yet. Check their websites for details though.

Checkout Ghost-Armor.com. They make incredibly protective skins for all Apple devices that protect against all sorts of damage. You can get them where they're completely invisible or get cooler looks such as carbon fiber, colors, etc. I've been using them for years and love their products.
