Ipad Air having a mind of its own

Hi

Just recently, our iPad Air feels like someone else is in control. Open an app and it starts going all over the place. As an example, when I tried to get the Serial Number, the iPad went all over the place in Settings. I kept having to go back. Go into Mail and I am literally fight the app to go where I want it to go. I turned off wi-fi and it still does it. Cleaned the screen and same thing.

Any ideas?

Have you tried a soft-reset/reboot ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the ‘slide to power off’), after which the Apple logo should appear and it should reboot. But if the problem is hardware related (e.g. damaged screen/sensor) that won't fix it.

You see apple logo this can take 30 seconds .
