RFCOMM support in iOS?

Hello,

I am developing an iOS application which needs to communicate with another device over RFCOMM socket connection.

I got following Apple document and come to know that it is supported on MAC OS

but I fail to find anything related RFCOMM for iOS. Is it possible to consume RFCOMM in iOS?
