Push alerts for alarms that have been set on your iPhone are subject to the same delivery requirements on your Apple Watch as other mirrored notifications:
Notifications on your Apple Watch - Apple Support
To be sure of receiving alarm notifications on your Apple Watch, you may prefer to set alarms directly on your Apple Watch:
I have the same experience. I have set the alarm on my iPhone and pushed the alert to my iWatch. For about a month now it has not worked. I talked to an Apple Rep today and she told me the watch alarm only works when you set the alarm on the watch itself. I am SO DISAPPOINTED that the alarm no longer works from the phone to the watch. Apple should add that feature back.
If push alerts for alarms are no longer being delivered as expected, then it may help to unpair and re-pair your Apple Watch.
I did the unpair, re-pair. I wasn’t receiving messages either. It didn’t seem to make a difference. What I did find was that if I have my iPhone open, the iwatch will not mirror the iPhone, in most any action. Now everything seem to be back to normal.
Hi
Alarms that are set on your iPhone are not synced to Apple Watch.
If your Apple Watch and iPhone are connected at the time of the alarm, then alarm alerts from your iPhone can be pushed to your watch, which can be used to snooze or dismiss them. The same also applies to any Timers that are set on your iPhone.
To enable / disable this option:
On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch (tab) > Clock > Push Alerts From iPhone.
Alarms (and timers) can also be set directly on your watch, in which case they operate entirely independently of your iPhone:
I did the unpair, and paired again. It did not work. I did it as a restore. Should I have repaired as a new watch?
Is it working in nightstand mode? I can only get mine to work when it is on my wrist.
I’m sorry. I don’t use it for nightstand purposes. I just charge. I’m retired, so I don’t need alarms.
As far as I know, when alarm starts ringing on your iPhone, your watch will also notify you, but alarms or timers set on iPhone don't synchronize with your watch. Just notification is pushed to watch. Any alarm or timer you set on your watch is not reflected to your iPhone either.
Each alarm is independent and will only notify you on the device it is set
My watch is set to push. It used to go off when my iPhone did. Now it doesn’t. Am I missing something?
