I have several videos that the audio doesn't work and usually it's because the audio in them is mp3 instead of ACC. Does Apple or another have a "codec pack" for an all-in-one audio resource solution? (something similar to K-Lite for Windows)

for audio I use "All2MP3" but unfortunately the sites that come up are all notorious for trying to bundle Mac adware.
You may want to give the app VLC a shot (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/).
It is pretty much a "Swiss Army Knife" of media players.
I'm using VLC and still having the audio problems with AVI files with MP3 audio. The MP4 with ACC works just fine, of course.
