MacBook Pro start up issue, says dead battery when not...

Multiple times now I have gone to power up my MacBook Pro and gotten the dead battery icon screen, when my battery was in fact charged. Both times, when I plug it in it starts right up and displays the charge percentage at about what I expected it to be. This last time, when I tried to start the MacBook Pro and it said I had a dead battery, the battery showed 68% charge when I plugged it in and started right up.

Please help!

Go to System Information > Hardware > Power > Battery Information > take a screen shot and post it here.

Tried the SMC reset and it seemed to resolve the issue for a bit, but it's doing it again.

Batt stats look normal. Wait until the issue appears again and take another screen shot. It may be that the batt has a deteriorating cell or flaky micro processor.
