photos.app move referenced files back to Library

1) How do I get the photos which are referenced back into the library in Photos.app, so it can be uploaded to iCloud Drive?


2) Which is the simplest way to list all broken referenced files?


3) I noticed that Photos.app don't consolidate photo's, even when they are on the selected location. How can I fix this?

1 - create a smart album of referenced photos. Select them all and use the File ➙ Consolidate... menu option. This will bring all of the referenced files into the library.

2 - You'll have to search for them when this message appears:

3 - Photos does consolidate the photos when the File ➙ Consolidate... menu option is used. However, only those photos selected when that menu option is used will be consolidated.
