facetime is causing my iphone to drain extremely fast!

FaceTime is causing my iPhone 6s to drain extremely fast even while it's plugged in (even faster when it's not connected to power). Once my iPhone dies completely and shuts off, it takes over a half hour to turn back on. Mind you, this is all while connected to power. This phone is only a couple months old, bought brand new and it already has charging issues.

It also charges extremely slow regardless if it's in use or not.

You should visit an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider and let them test your phone, or check if it is eligible for this program: iPhone 6s Program for Unexpected Shutdown Issues

You can also contact Apple Support to send it in for service. Your phone is still under warranty.
