Hey again,

I understand now, sorry about that! The iCloud account would have to be logged in on both devices, but I wouldn't recommend this. If both of you are looking to use ALL the features of iCloud, your personal information such as Contacts, Calendars , Photos, and more will be merged together. I would recommend setting up two iCloud accounts and adding her to your family to share purchases and billing information.

Check out Set up Family Sharing - Apple Support. This is better than sharing an iCloud account in my opinion.

Good luck!

This question has been asked several times in the past and the answer seems to be no. iCloud usage cannot be shared between different users even within Family Sharing. There may be technical reasons for this limitation, but I don't know (we are just users like yourself). On the surface, it seems like a reasonable request. If you would like to make this suggestion to Apple, use this link:

They won't respond directly, but they will note your request.

Hey there,

It sounds like you're trying to add two different iCloud accounts in the settings of your device so that device can backup to both accounts at the same time? If so, this isn't possible. You would have to sign out of one and into the other, manually backup, then switch back.

If this isn't what you're asking, please clarify your question a bit more.
