Why do I keep getting error safebrowsing.clients.google.com when syncing Itunes with Ipad 3 or Iphone 6s

It is related to Mobile Safari. Others have seen this on version 2.5.5.5 after the update, and some have rolled back to 12.5.4.42 to eliminate it.

It used to be common on older versions of iTunes, but like tt2, I have not seen it on the last few versions of iTunes.

Try turning off your network before you sync if the message is causing the sync to fail. Turn it back on when the sync is complete. I found a post on the web earlier this week that Apple has acknowledged this is an issue in version 12.5.5.5, but take that with a grain of salt.

Seems to be a prevailing issue for some at the moment. Is it possible to ignore the dialog and continue? I haven't seen it personally.

In my case there is a mistake. I get a dot where it should not be.

"safebrowing.clients.google.com."

I've got the same thing happening on my iPad. It makes it just about useless to me now.

No - it is not possible to ignore this. It is simply not executing the synchronization.

Weird, some people seem to be able to continue with the sync. Try taking the computer offline temporarily.
