Apple Watch incorrectly showing storage is full

I have an Apple Watch Series 2, and an iPhone 7 128GB. Strangely, the watch is showing storage is full, despite there being no photos and no music on the watch. Looking at the usage breakdown for the watch on my iPhone, it appears no apps are taking up the space... so what could it be?

A few weeks ago I had this problem and decided to reset / unpair / repair the watch -- which temporarily fixed the issue. But now it's back!

Has anyone else encountered this?

If you deleted stuff you might have to restart the phone and Watch for it to update. Power/dock button is under Digital Crown. Hold till see option to turn off. Same to turn back on.

Also Check you music storage. In Watch App settings look under Music. You can decrease the storage it will allow.
