I can no longer scan with my Epson XP-830 since downloading Sierra

My Epson XP-830 scanner functioned perfectly until I downloaded Sierra. I have version 10.12.3. How do I fix the scanner?

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Community. I understand you’ve had some trouble with your scanner since updating your MacOS, and I have some info that may help.

Often when a new update is made available, it requires new drivers to communicate with your peripherals like printers and scanners. Have a look at the link to the Epson support site below for the latest drivers for your scanner.
