my usb microphone cannot detect with my macbook pro 13inch

hi everybody , I just buy a new studio microphone to my mac for recording , but when I plug in my microphone with audio splitter , my mac did't show any externe microphone setting to let me pick , so anybody can help me to fix this problem , thank
