Safari has stopped recording my history

I found today that my history isn't being recorded on safari! Can't figure out why.

I have tried deleting my history and it just freezes and Safari itself freezes when I try to quit it.

I have just done the newest iOS update but I don't know if it wasn't working before this.

I have tried deleting my cache file and turning off the safari part of my iCloud please help!

Safari won’t quit? Needs to Force Quit always?

Safari History crashes?

Safari using too much memory?

Backup the Mac.

Force Quit Safari.

Close all windows and quit all applications.

Hold "option" key down and click "Go" menu in the Finder menu bar.

Library will appear between “Home” and “Computer” entries in the dropdown.

Select "Library" from the dropdown.

Click the “List” view button in the Finder toolbar.

Move these files to trash and test.

1, Click open the Caches folder and scroll down.
