I am trying to download some PDS documents to fill out the template. It only opens in adobe reader and then they want me to buy a program to convert it. This is probably a simple fix so what do I do?

When you open the document, you can change the size. That doesn't require converting it to another format (which is what you would need to pay for).

Just select a smaller number.

Once you download a file, you can open it with other applications. For example, to open it in Preview, open the Preview application. go to File>Open, navigate to the file you want to open and then click on the "Open" button.

Are you trying to edit the PDF itself? Or are you trying to fill out a PDF form? You should be able to fill in a PDF form in Acrobat Reader. However, you won't be able to edit the PDF itself.

I removed it and then reinstalled Adobe. I have tried to open this is in a pdf from several sources.

1. The e-mail it was attached to

2. The google drive where it lives. I have tried a few different ways to download it from there and it always defaults to adobe reader. It opens at 175 to 195 percent or so and will not let me convert it to anything else without signing up and paying for it. ;-(

I have an option when I try to open it to choose adobe or download. When I download, it still defaults to the same adobe reader problem when I try to open.
