Premiere Pro won't open (Macbook Pro 13" mid-2012)

Hi all.

I'm normally editing movies in Premiere Pro CC on my iMac 27" mid-2010 and everything runs smoothly, but whenever I try opening Premiere Pro on my Macbook Pro 13" mid-2012 it won't open at all. I can launch the application and the loading box appears and loads for about 15 seconds, but then it automatically quits the application just like that, without any error message popping up or anything.

I've previously had Premiere Pro running just fine on my Macbook Pro (back then I had El Capitan installed), but now it just won't open at all.

Other Adobe applications such as Lightroom, InDesign and Illustrator works like a charm but Premiere Pro just straight up refuses to launch.

I know Premiere Pro is a very consuming application, but I've even seen it run on a friends Macbook Air mid-2011 without any problems, so I'm wondering what could be the cause of this?

Thanks.

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2012), macOS Sierra (10.12.2), null
