How to fix failed system launch agent

I noticed a failed system launch agent when running Etrecheck on my iMac. I was wondering if there was a way to fix it.

System Launch Agents:

[failed] com.apple.softwareupdate_notify_agent.plist (2016-07-08)

[not loaded] 7 Apple tasks

[loaded] 153 Apple tasks

[running] 78 Apple tasks

iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.5), 8GB RAM, 1TB HD

Hello again Alfredo,

No. That file should be protected by SIP - System Integrity Protection. That is another layer of security from Apple. It is possible to turn it off, but you don't want to.

System tasks do fail from time to time. Restarting will restart all such tasks. If you have a system task that is constantly failing, then it might be worth exploring why that is happening. But generally, Macs simply need to be restarted on a regular basis these days.

If a folder LaunchAgents is deleted in system library how to establish it once again on right place .

Press command + J > choose as name or right click on empty desktop sort by name . Click on go to go folder & type /Library

Take cursor on top menu bar > new folder > type LaunchAgents in untitled folder .

Also if , it is deleted from user library ( ~/Library ) , you can apply the same method .
