texting non apple users from my Mac Book Pro

When I first brought my Mac Book Pro home I could send and receive texts from any phone user (Apple and Android alike). Now that Ive done the update, I can only receive texts from apple users.

How do I fix this?

HI,

The basics are that you reset the Text Forwarding so that the Mac generates a new code.
