Hi

As your wife has requested account recovery, there is nothing that Apple can do to speed the process up. She will hear from Apple in due course, but it is not possible to say when that will be.

In the meantime, should she wish to contact Apple Support, they can answer questions about the account recovery process, but Apple Support cannot expedite the process in any way.

Your wife may be able to speed the process up herself by following the advice here, under "Tips to regain access faster":

Regain access to your Apple ID with two-factor authentication account recovery - Apple Support

Otherwise, she will need to wait until the process completes.

As I hoped to explain in my previous reply, it is not possible to say how long account recovery will take.

As Apple states in the support article, "It might take a few days—or longer—to regain access to your account, depending on what specific account information you can provide to verify your identity.":

Regain access to your Apple ID with two-factor authentication account recovery - Apple Support

Yes, its work for me.

I hv got email from apple said that at 20th august will get text or email how to unlock my wife account but until that time, i still don't get the email so i tried to use Regain access to your Apple ID with two-factor authentication account recovery - Apple Support and it work. My wife now can access Her account and change Her Password via iPhone.

It took 10 business days to recover my account and change my password. I was locked out of my account and my iphone when I switched cell phone carriers. When the new sim card was added, I needed to active my phone with the id and password. I forgot my password. When the process started I was able to provide my Apple ID, my trusted phone number and the credit card associated with my account. I believe it took so long because, although I knew my trusted phone number, I couldn't use it to receive the verification code because I was locked out of my phone. I had to used my husbands number. That may have added time. Also, since I didn't have my phone, I wasn't checking my email. Apple sent an email asking me to verify i started the recovery process. If I would have verified, that could have lessen the number of days?? So... my scenario was maybe the worst case, but wanted to provide my information as it was a very fustrating process. Maybe this will help someone else. Good luck!
