I've never heard of a printer being automatically deleted, but it's easy to fix. go to system preferences, then print and fax, then click on "add printer" and it should come back.Chances are the driver is in there already, but if not, find the model of the printer, go to the maker's website, and download the driver for it, then install it as per instructions
