Videos play with no sound! HELP!!!!

I'm having a problem playing videos on my ipod. I have them loaded onto the ipod and they play just fine but I have no sound at all. The sound works perfectly when playing songs but no sound with videos. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. HELP!

This is because the videos are muxed and were converted. See this for more info...
iPod plays video but not audio of some exported files (Muxed Files)

You would have to use a converter that supports muxed videos, such as...
MPEG Streamclip

I believe that there is an iPod option in there, but if not, these are the settings you'll want to convert to...

MPEG-4 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per sec., Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48 kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats

haha, **** im confused. dont mean to make u frustrated but like it has a whole bunch of things to choose from. like i go to file...and do i choose export, convert, or demux?

Okay; no worries.

You want to demux it first and then you want to convert the demuxed (newer version that it just made) movie.

Demux to M2V and MPA...
Demux to M2V and AC3...
Demux to M2V...
Demux to AIFF...
Demux to MPA...

Demux to Unscaled M2V and AIFF...
Demux to Headed M2V and AIFF...
Demux to Headed M2V and MPA...
Demux to Headed M2V and AC3...
Demux to Headed M2V...

Convert to MPEG...
Convert to MPEG with MP2 audio...
Convert to Headed MPEG...
Convert to TS...
Convert to TS with...MP2 audio or REC Header or VID Header

these are all the options

Try the first option and then convert that to MPEG.

alright i converted it and demuxed it. now how do i put it in my ipod? do i juss drag the converted video into itunes or wat?

You can drag the converted version into iTunes and then update your iPod (if it is set to update movies too, the video will transfer to your iPod).
