* THE LONG EXPLANATION BELOW DID NOT WORK FOR ME BUT IT MAY WORK FOR YOU SO IN CASE YOU DONT WANT TO WASTE YOUR TIME READING ALL THAT!" Here ya go : "Apple Rep" told me to simply set my cookies to "ALWAYS ALLOW" & then go back and clear it as I usually did & it would be gone." Hope it works for someone!!
*LONG EXPLANATION THAT DID NOT WORK FOR ME*
This has happened to me twice since the newest update. I spoke with an Apple Customer Service Rep about this last Saturday. I know people think it's not a big deal just because it says "whatever website" then 0
bytes. I know how to clear it frontwards backwards upside down, I mean seriously I should work for Apple because I have a lot of time invested in repairing my own phone while the reps walk me through it. THAT being said, it has to be a small glitch or bug or something else causing it besides the actual "website data." I was told last Saturday by the Apple rep to put my cookies setting on "always allow" and there would be no problem with me clearing it....WRONG! I don't know why but it just irritated the crap out of me for that 1 website to stay there while all the others deleted like they are supposed to. By Tuesday I had completely erased my phone (previously backed up) and set it up as a new phone which meant I completely had to start over as if I had just received the phone. It wasn't a huge deal, everything was back to normal and then BAM happened again Friday & the only thing I remember doing differently that might have caused it this time is I forgot to back out of the site that is still there that says 0 bytes which is really starting to annoy me again but I'm not going to just accept that every time this happens I have to erase the phone completely and start over after 2 years of it never happening down to 2 times in 8 days. I don't know what I'm going to do this time, I haven't decided but if anyone finds out a DIFFERENT way please let me know, I would be so grateful!
