Why did Apple remove 'Magic Garageband'?

I heard about the feature last year, and couldn't find it in Garageband. I searched up online and found out it was removed. Why did Apple remove 'Magic Garageband'?

GarageBand (Mac) '11, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)

Magic GarageBand was not very flexible. It has been replaced by the smart instruments in GarageBand 10 - smart strings, automatic drummers, arpeggio toes. These give you much more control to compose music automatically,
