Upgrade Macbook Pro

Hello,

I currently have the 13-inch Macbook Pro with Retina Mid-2014. For my new job I need to upgrade to the new 15-inch Macbook Pro with Touch Bar and Touch ID.

When I upgraded from the iPhone 4S to the iPhone 6S I was able to trade it in and get some money back to use towards the iPhone 6S then I paid the remainder. I was wondering if it was possible to do the same process with my Macbook? (I live in Australia and did this process in Australia, I'm not sure if this is the same across the world)

Thank you

MacBook Pro with Retina display, macOS Sierra (10.12.3), null

Apple doesn't trade have a trade in program for computers - just a recycle program for old Macs. I've always sold my replaced Macs within a week or two by putting up a flyer at the local community college and grocery store. I meet interested buyers either at the student union or local library to let them examine the computer and accept cash. If that doesn't appeal check online for local companies that buy and sell used computers.
