Space bar replacement for 400 Euros.

Here is the situation. I went to an official apple reseller repair, told them that my space bar had an issue before I tried to fix it by popping up the space bar, and I needed it to be repaired.

I receive a call back two days later telling me that it will cost me 400 Euros to repair a space bar on my brand new 2016 MacBook pro 13 inch with a touch bar. FOUR HUNDRED EUROS. They recommended that I call the official technical support line and I did. The guy on the call recommended that I get the issue escalated. Still no word back yet after being escalated.

I am a student and if you hear this apple. FOUR HUNDRED Euros is not exactly pocket change for me. I would understand if it were something more technical but a space bar?
