Can I connect an Xbox One S to an Apple Cinema Display (model A1081)

Similar questions have been asked before (mainly regarding Xbox 360's), and I'm not holding my breath that this is possible, but I thought I'd try my luck: is there any known way to successfully run an Xbox One S through an old Apple Cinema Display (model A1081 to be precise)?

I've tried using the Apple HDMI to DVI adapter to run the Xbox's HDMI output into the ACD's DVI input. The monitor light turns on (so I don't get the flashing light, which I believe occurs when the source isn't compatible) but the screen itself stays blank.

In another post someone mentioned that they managed to get an Xbox 360 working (though not in a resolution native the ACD) before updating the Xbox's software, which prevented it from working at all. Given this, I'm assuming the Xbox One was never compatible in the remotest sense, hence I am not harbouring high hopes that this is possible.

Perhaps someone can surprise me.

The main issue is going to be the resolutions. The Cinema Display simply cannot support the full HD resolution of the Xbox.

If you manage to change it to something the Cinema Display can actually display it will work. No real guarantee on how it will look though.
