TuneIn Radio disappeared from Apple Watch

I used TuneIn Radio on AW for a couple month but today it disappeared.

It is not listed in AW applications.

I deleted and again installed it. Same thing.

I restarted both iPhone and AW but still it is not listed and I can't see it on AW.

How could I get it back on AW?

Thsnks

Hi

If you have not yet done so, it may help to update your iPhone and Apple Watch to the latest software, starting with your iPhone (be sure to make a backup first):

Otherwise, given the steps that you have already tried, I suggest that you contact the app developer for assistance with the issue with their app:

This is tune in answer:

"Hello Eran, Thank you for contacting us regarding this problem. This is a known issue that has been passed on to our Development Team. We hope to have this fixed in a future release. I apologize for the inconvenience and we appreciate your support of TuneIn! Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help with. Sincerely, Rica TuneIn --"

It's not the Watch, it's Tunein. It hasn't been optimized for the latest iOS updates.

The same thing is happening on CarPlay. If you got to your 'recents' they're not there. All that is left is empty templates with no data. The watch no longer shows 'recents' at all.

Want proof? Go to your mobile version of Tunein. Open it. Go to the browse option. See the little car logo up top? Thats car mode. Select it. This is what you see on CarPlay.

Now go to 'Recents' on your Tunein app while in Car Mode. The recents are gone. If you use it as much as I do, you'll see empty blocks where the station ID's should be. The empty blocks still hold the recent but if you're driving, you're still forced to use your phone. The same on the Watch. You need to hound Tunein. Not Apple. Apple only forwards our messages. I sent this to Tunein and got their canned response - "we are aware of the problem and are addressing it in a future update' is the response. obviously it's not a critical update or they would have fixed it by now. But they haven't. Either use this time to hound them and make then update it NOW! or delete the app and try a different one.

Tunein became popular over-night. it can loose that popularity just as fast the more other developers know about the inconvenience to subscribers.

New update issued today, I think supposedly addresses the Apple Watch problem. It seems to revert back to it's previous state prior to the last update. Unfortunately, It doesn't seem to be working. The item does show up on the watch again, however it's just a picture of the app template. No controls, no recents, no volume control, nothing. Going to try to re-load it tonight.
