Guitar Rig 2.2 as a plug in?
Does Garageband support plugins? If so, does anyone know if it will support Guitar Rig 2.2 and if so how do I make this happen?
G5 dual 1.8ghz, Mac OS X (10.4.8)
GB supports AU plugins, no VST or Windows based.

GarageBand will load any standard AudioUnit plugin. Guitar Rig 2.2 has an Audio Unit version which works perfectly (I tried it, it's awesome). To use Guitar Rig, double-click a track to bring up the info pane, then click "details", then select Guitar Rig in the plug-ins list. Done! In fact, you can use Guitar Rig on multiple tracks in GB which is awesome.

I have the same question - except I can't find the Guitar Rig 2 Audio Unit. Should it be under SoftwareTrack>Details>Generator>AudioUnitModules ?
The only items i see there are AUAudioFilePlayer, AUNetReceive, and DSL Music Device.
Where is the GR2 AU / Plugin? I've spotlighted everything I could think of.

GR is not a generator but an effect:

What if it doesn't show up in the Track Info menu?
