No sound on my iPhone 7 plus!

I have had my iPhone 7 plus for about a month now and for about 2 weeks have not had any sounds for any notifications. I have tried a soft reboot and making sure everything is what it should be in settings. Nothing is working! I am very frustrated, as I am missing phone calls and not able to reply to texts and emails right away. I really do not want to pay Apple to fix something they did not get right in the first place. I hope someone can help me.
