I to have this same problem. Wickes say text STOP to 60090, yet when 60090 is typed in it separates it.

I've tried

60090

4460090

+4460090

All get spaces in the wrong places, I've also tried copy and paste.

I have this issue too on an iPhone 6S on the UK Plusnet network (hosted on EE).

I put the 5 digit code into my address book and then tried to send a reply (to stop advertising).

The message was not sent.

Looking at the contacts list I noticed that the 5 digit code has been broken into two parts and looks like

2 digits, space, 3 digits.

My guess is then that this space is causing the termination of the number. The phone is trying to send to a 2 digit number (and ignoring the 3 digits after the space). That is clearly not an acceptable number

Maybe the answer lies in the formatting definitions somewhere in the phone?

Anyone know where these might be located and are they user configurable?

Chris.
