Find the MAC address of the camera.

In Airport Utility, edit the base station. On the Network tab, set up a DHCP Reservation for the camera using the MAC address. It's not really a static IP, but will always give the camera the same IP address.

If you really need it static, give it an address with the last octet between 201 and 254. If you have changed the default addressing of the AE, you'll have to use an address above the last address you used in the Network Options:

In that example posted above, set the camera to 192.168.1.201 or higher (up to 254).

Another way to find the Mac Address is from the Airport Extreme, if it is connecting to the AE. Since you need to set a static IP address, then it may not be connecting.

If you click on the AE in Airport Utility, then click on one of the Wireless clients, it will list the MAC address for each device. You just need to figure out which one is the Camera.

Can you explain why you need a static IP? That may affect what you should do.

The DHCP reservation assumes that the Camera will connect via DHCP, but it will always give the camera the same IP address.

If the camera must be set up with a manual IP, then that would be done on the camera, not on the Airport Extreme.

So its strange i went to amcrest site ( you can view your camera online threw thier site) to log in and the MAC address is diffrent then the Hardware Address the airport extreme is showing. I tired punching in the Mac address i got from Amcrest site to DHCP Reservation on the airport extreme and it would just change the IP Address on me. What I am tring to do is set up cameras in my house and using Synology Serveillance Station on a Disk Station NAS I have on my network

Ok, but I still have no idea why you need a static IP. What is telling you to set up a static IP address and why?

I can guess that it would help identify which camera you are viewing, but that could be resolved with a DHCP reservation.

If the cameras must be set up with a manual IP address because they are not capable of DHCP, then that is a different matter altogether.

It sounds like you are getting an Address via DHCP since it does show up via the camera website. If so, use the hardware address you see from the AE to set up a DHCP Reservation for each camera.

I have no idea what the camera website shows you, but I would imagine it would only be able to see your Router's MAC address unless you set up the router to make the cameras accessible from the web.
