Sierra recognizes the MX310 as a Fax Printer.
I have loaded the newest driver from the Canon website.
Still, the Fax PDF option does not appear in the Print dialog box.
Does anyone know if (and how) to fax directly from the mac?

Read this Apple Knowledge Base article.... This assumes that you have the Canon MX310 functioning properly. If you downloaded the latest canon drivers, you might need to contact Canon for more set up info.
The KB article you mention refers to the Fax PDF option in the PDF dropdown menu. As I stated in my original post, that item does NOT appear for me. If you know how to install it, that would be helpful.
