I have many contacts with multiple phone numbers on my iphone 6
Whenever a contact calls me , or I call him, I can only see his name in the call history but not which phone number was actully used for that particular call.
How can I access this information ?

In the recent calls list, it lists their names, and under their names it should say where they were calling from. If you have it set right in your contacts such as mobile, home, work, primary, whatever the number is, you'll see the name of the person that called you, and right under their name it will say what the call came from so you'll see "John Doe" and then under it you'll see "mobile" or whatever. This is how every call that I have received is listed in my recent call log.
