Photos slideshow will not fit to screen as selected

I have tried to create several slideshows in latest version of Photos and photos will not "fit to screen" as I selected. This situation exists on all my Apple devices. How do I view photos full screen in Slideshow?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7)

Make sure the Scale photo to fit screen is unchecked if you want to fill the screen entirely with each image. You will lose some of each image as it's enlarged to fill the screen.
