Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I've got the left-column previews set to 'newest on top' and that works fine.
But the right-window conversations default to the oldest on top, and I can't see a way to chage this.
I'd simply like the newest message in a conversation to be at the top!
All software up to date.

Opened mail & pressed command + L filters are created .You can see a small black icon having 3-4 horizontal bars , next to unread .
Again took cursor on view .

Open mail , take cursor on top menu bar > view > sort by > check mark the newest message on the top .
That's what I did...
But what I want are the conversations in the right window in the same order, i.e. newest on top...

You're dealing with the wrong column, it's the right-hand 'read' window where I want the messages 'newest on top'.
The 'preview' column is fine!
