changing pool size in Apple Watch

I put wrong pool size in my Apple watch and now am unable to correct it for exercise goals. Watch o Ly let's me change calories. Any ideas?

I know that you're frustrated with the pool length, but just remember, it should not affect your work out results. It uses the accelerometer to calculate your activity, not length of pool.


It shouldn't be measuring the length of the pool other than what you entered prior to the workout. Not sure why it is changing it in your summary


When you start your next swim workout, maybe it will adjust itself. Maybe try recalibrating your watch prior to a swim. Go into the watch app Settings on your phone, then go to privacy/motion and fitness you will see an option to reset calibration data.

Yes, you would think that the default would be the last pool length entered, not 25.


It seems to go back to 25 at any opportunity rendering the stats unreliable at best.


The chap that stated it doesn't make any difference obviously didn't take the time to check the data recorded to his iPhone, which is clocked in 25yd/m intervals. This was a 20m pool and I did set the pool length at least once.
