Yellow Tint Display of New iPhone 7

It sounds like you're talking about Night Shift.

If it's not Night Shift I would recommend getting a replacement iPhone.

Use Night Shift

Night Shift adjusts the color of your display after sunset.1 Many studies show that exposure to bright-blue light in the evening can affect your circadian rhythms and make it harder to fall asleep. After sunset, Night Shift will shift your display colors to the warmer end of the spectrum, making the display easier on your eyes. In the morning, your display returns to its regular settings.

There are two ways to turn Night Shift on and off:

• Swipe up to open Control Center. Tap to turn Night Shift on or off.
• Go to Settings > Display & Brightness > Night Shift.2 On the same screen, you can set a schedule and adjust color temperature.

By default, Night Shift turns on from sunset to sunrise.

Okay I've not heard of that one before. I'm not sure if Apple has multiple screen producers but if they do the display isn't going to be yellow simply because of this.

I will suggest three things:

1. Ask for a return/exchange from where you bought it.
2. Contacting Apple Support( for troubleshooting steps)
3. Making a Genius Bar Appointment

i bought yesterday. and i have also yellowish iphone 7. what to do now?

Since Apple said nothing is wrong I would believe that it maybe one other thing. There is an adhesive for the digitizer that may take a few days or week or two to fully set in. After the week the screen should turn to usual.

If after a week or so your screen is still yellow the only thing I would suggest is to contact Apple Support again.

Once again simply because it's a different manufacture doesn't mean that its going to be yellow. If Apple has three producers they are going to all be virtually the same.

One manufacture isn't going to produce yellow screens while the two others don't.

You're going to have to talk to the store manager and ask for an exchange.

You can Contact Apple Support and explain to them your problem in detail and see what other options they have.

If not already you can change to India by scrolling all the way down on the Support website.

i have Iphone 7 and i face same issue. i visit nearest apple service center they are giving silly reason, they told me apple iphone 7 have two types of display 1st is BLUE TONE and 2nd is YELLOW TONE so you have yellow tone display. when i argue with him then he told if you want blue tone display so we only replace your display. i m very disappointed with apple service i never suggest anyone to buy iphone.

Just remember you have a 14-day no-questions-asked return policy. If it does not correct itself, be sure to return for a replacement or reimbursement in time.

Dunno where you are, but over here you can show up at the Store you purchased and get your money back without having to offer ANY explanation. Period.

Talk to the manager.
