My IPhone 7 burned me!!!!!! What to do next?

Hey Guys,

I was at work waiting tables on the 8th of February when i began to feel pain on my leg. It felt like i had been bitten by an ant. Anyway, i kept on waiting on a very busy night at work and the pain kept getting worse. I went to the back to rub my leg when i realised my iphone 7 was extremely hot. I instantly pulled it out and put it down. Anyway, i kept on working through the pain. When i got home, i discovered burn marks on my leg aligned with my jeans pocket. I have been constantly calling and emailing apple support and now it is taking me excessively long to get sorted, hence my bringing it to attention here.

Ill put the damage into context:

Burns on my leg - went a bit ***** and bubbly the day after - verging on second degree burns.

I had to skip a day of work as it was too painful to run around on for several hours on end.

My phone keeps excessively heating up, however not yet to the extent of the other day.

So i now dont have a useable phone for fear it might catch on fire or burn me again. (Its in a metal box just incase)

I will add that the customer service people have been really good, but when the above occurs and they are asking me to download all these files off my phone and send them in, its getting very annoying. I was told i need to go into an apple store this morning so they can try and "find" the source of damage on my phone. When saying this, i was given the option of waiting until thursday for the next availiable appointment, or to go in tommorow morning and wait several hours until apple can assist me.

Obviously they are not taking this matter serious enough and i am now wondering what i should do.

Any suggestions are very welcome!!!

Hey man, sorry for the late reply. Hope everything is fine now. If not you may go to the Apple customer care and tell them the problem and show them the burns. They will surly help you and if still is there is some problem, you got to directly go to the main head quarter. (I guess)

Cheers!

Go see a dermatologist and follow their advice. Do not seek medical advice from a volunteer forum that assists with Apple product and service issues, not physical injury.

Unprofessional Medical "advice" could cause futher distress even if when intentions were not to do so.
