Why doesn't the heart rate connect to my fitness apps anymore?

When I first got my watch and used Runkeeper or Runtastic Pro, my updates during my runs would include my heart rate, but ever since I did the software update, I can't get that data anymore. How do I fix that?

Hi

It may help to check the following settings:

On your iPhone, go to: Settings > Privacy > Motion & Fitness - check that both Fitness Tracking and Health are enabled.

On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch > Privacy > Motion & Fitness - check that both Fitness Tracking and Heart Rate are enabled.

On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch > General > turn off Workout Power Saving Mode.

Otherwise, I suggest that you consult the developers' support resources for Runkeeper and Runtastic Pro and/or contact the developers for assistance with using their apps:
