Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → Add New Keyboard... → Malay
After that you can switch between keyboard with the "planet earth" key on the bottom corner of the keyboard.

Malay and Malayalam are totally different. You can use a google search to learn about that.
Have you tried pressing and holding down each one of the keys to see if their is a popup menu available?
