Just needed help from all of you on identifying whether this cable will fit my MacBook Pro Mid 2012. In case it won't, can someone please send me a link to a cable that will fit. Preferably from a vendor who ships to India.

+1 to this not being the right cable--it appears to be the one for the 2009-2010 13" MBP.
PowerBook Medic or ifixit will have the right cable, but I don't know if they ship to India or not. But if you visit the ifixit site, you can see that there are different cables for different model years.

Should also mention that the hard drive interface in 2009 snd 2010 was 3 Gbps and the 2012 interface is 6 Gbps. The wrong cable might fit physically, but won't deliver the 6 Gbps that you will need for your drive to run properly.
I think it doesn't fit in your MacBook Pro.
