Can't see Logic Pro X in purchase history

Why can't I download LPX on my third Mac? During the week leading up to the LPX release I bought LP9 from the App Store and Apple gave me LPX as a free upgrade when it released. I installed it on my iMAC no problem. A few months later I went to install on my MacBook but LPX did not reflect in my purchase history nor was the purchase in the hidden section of my account (it shows in my iMac history as a purchase though). I had to purchase to start the download and then called Apple to sort it out. They refunded me no problemo. Fast forward to 2017, I bought a new MacBook signed in to App Store and could not see it (LPX) once again. I called Apple and they said they cannot regrant download access because I was refunded for it already but they don't seem to get the fact that I only received a refund for the LPX the second time I paid. Is there a way I can just transfer it from my Mac without the App Store? The Apple rep told me I can download LP9 again or I can pay again for LPX. I'm beyond upset someone please help. I purchased the app it's not cracked or any of that other stuff. It's just the simple fact that I was given an upgrade for free because I purchased LP9 just as LPX came out.
