Notes syncing problem

Whenever I enter a note or up-date an existing one on either my Mac, iPhone or iPad they are syncing succesfully

amongst themselves and as well as to my MacBook Air.

The problem is that when I enter a new Note or change an existing one on my MacBook this is NOT synced back to the other devices.

Why is that only a one-way road as far the MacBook is concerned ?

BTW: All devices are running the latest versions of the respecti operating system.

iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2012), macOS Sierra (10.12.3)

Open Notes on the MacBook. Use Notes' menu to go to Notes > Preferences. Be certain "Enable the On My Mac Account" is not checked. Be certain the "Default Account" indicates the same account used on your other devices.

I solved to problem by simply "disabling" Note syncing on my MacBook. At this point all Notes disappeared and then

I re-enabled it again. All Notes appeared again and from that point onwards syncing from the MacBook to all other devices and ****-versa worked again. Corrupt data ?

Whatever: it works now.
