Tools Missing In Affinity Photo

I have posted this issue on the Affinity Forums and have not found a resolution. Hoping for help here.

I am using Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer from Seriflabs. Recently, the Tools palette on the left side of the app has gone empty. The tools still work (if you know the shortcuts), they are just not visible. As a side note, Affinity Designer tools are all working perfectly.

By suggestion, I have run Etrecheck and have that report available if anyone want me to share it.

I have done all the most logical tests; reinstall, clear all user date when starting the app, turned off and on tools and docking, and on and on.

When creating a new Admin account, the program (Affinity Photo) works perfectly there, so it's something in my main account causing the issue.

Almost forgot, I'm using 27" 5k iMac running the latest Sierra OS.

Also, not sure where is the best place to post this. For now, I choose Developer Forums.

Thanks!

On macOS Sierra 10.12.3, and by default, when I launch Affinity Photo v1.5.1, the Tools appear along the left edge of the application. I can hide these by simply unchecking View menu : Show Tools, or aggregate them into their own movable panel by deselecting View menu : Dock Tools.

I purchased the Affinity Designer and Photo when they first became available through the App Store, and dutifully applied updates as they have become available. No issues with the user interface, or application functionality since the beginning — across multiple releases of operating systems.
