Can I display the metadata location as a title for my photos

Adding titles to the displayed photos is very long-winded, when most of the information is already contained in the GPS location in the metadata. Is there any way of easily displaying that information as a title? Then all I need to do is correct any known errors.

Using Mac Sierra 10.12.3 with Photos V2.00 (3130.0.240)

iMac, macOS Sierra (10.12.3), Tunderbolt HDD 3Tb & 6Tb FCPX 10.3.

but I canot see any reference to a 'Moments' View in Photos.

The "Photos" view has three different versions: Moments, Collections, Years. You step between them using the arrow keys to the right of the three traffic light buttons.

For example: I click the "Photos" in the sidebar, then the ">" to get to the Moments, if I am not already viewing the Moments.

Now each Moment will show the date in the title and the location.

If you do not see the sidebar, reveal it with ⌘S.

This Help page explains a bit more about Moments, Collections, Years: https://help.apple.com/photos/mac/1.2/?lang=en#/pht56eafa987

The photo has the 'Location Set' symbol shown in the top left of the picture.

The location itself is only shown in the Info panel or as a title above the photo, if you are viewing the photo enlarged. All "Metadata > Location" does is toggling the badge on or off, that you are seeing overlaid on the thumbnail. The location itself will not be displayed below the thumbnails. You can only see the titles there.

I am using PowerPhotos to view the metadata of the photos in my Photos Library. You can test this in the free trial version of PowerPhotos:

It can display the place as a subtitle below the thumbnail or in a list view of all photos, for example:

Or in list view you can compare the metadata or sort by them:

And as an added bonus, the thumbnails can be viewed on a black background!

Thank you for your response Léonie.

Perhaps I am a bit dim, but I canot see any reference to a 'Moments' View in Photos. I can find 'Memories', but this does not give me anything like I would like to achieve.

If I display the photos in an Album, then underneath each photo is a grey 'Untitled' ready to be edited, but to manually edit each one is very time-consuming. If I go to 'View' and select 'Metadata/location' why does this not display the GPS location already attached to the photos metadata. It knows the date, and it knows the place, why do I have to re-type it all? The photo has the 'Location Set' symbol shown in the top left of the picture.

Hoping you have a possible solution.
